Dundee is the fourth largest city in Scotland with a population of 148,000. It is located on the banks of the River Tay on the east coast.
Dundee has many housing estates and around 56 tower blocks. The tallest are 23 storeys in height. However, all of Dundee's high rise stock is due to be demolished over the next 10 to 15 years. Around half have already been knocked down. Most recently, were the 17 storey tower blocks in Ardler. The last of the six multis on the estate were demolished on the 24th June 2007.
