Construction of Elm Tree Tower on the Rupert Street Estate, Nechells Green, Aston.

Elm Tree Tower was a 12 storey tower block on Bradburne Way in the Rupert Street Estate. It was situated in the Nechells Green area of Aston, Birmingham. Plans for the block were approved in 1959 and it was completed in 1961 by Wates. It was 36 metres tall and contained 71 flats. It was demolished in the late 1990s as part of the wider regeneration of the estate.

The estate was one of four that made up the Nechells Green / Duddeston complex and was part of the 67 council tower blocks in Aston.
