Chatsworth Tower

Chatsworth Tower

Chatsworth Tower was a 20 storey tower block on Bell Barn Road, on the Lee Bank estate on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre, England. Plans for the block were approved along with Charlecote Tower in 1963. It was completed in 1966 by Wimpey. It was 57 metres tall and contained 116 flats.

The tower was demolished by controlled explosion in October 2002 by Coleman & Company Ltd. so that Optima Homes could redevelop the site as part of the Park Central scheme. It was the third tower block on the estate to be demolished.
