Amochrie Glen is a small private housing estate located just off Amochrie Road in Foxbar, Paisley. It was built in the 1990s as the area moved away from it's initial purpose to provide cheap and affordable council housing, to appeal to people who wanted desirable properties with close proximity to Paisley and Glasgow. Gleniffer High School is nearby.
It is set in the remains of an ancient woodland and adjacent to the historic Stanely Castle and reservoir. Surrounded by grand pine trees and facing south to the Gleniffer Braes and country park, it is an idyllic suburban location perfect for young families and keen gardeners.
