The Gaywood Estate is in the London Borough of Southwark, bounded by St George's Road, London Road and Garden Row. The Gaywood Estate is usually used to refer to the 1960s buildings of Prospect House, Newman House and Flaxman House, which were approved for construction in 1962.

Administratively, Southwark Council also include the Victorian terraced properties on Gaywood Street and Princess Street as part of the Gaywood Estate as well as the Perronet House block, though locals don't really regard these properties as part of the estate.
