Hyde Park flats
From UK Housing Wiki
Hyde Park flats was a massive block that stood on the hillside overlooking Sheffield Station and the city centre. They were demolished in the early 1990s. They were original build as part of the 1950's/60's flat building boom to rehouse people from the slum clearances of some areas of existing housing, and to cope with the 'baby boom' following the end of the "Second World War". Not strictly a "Tower" block as was a long wall of flats, more in the style of Eastern block countries.
