The Pynfolds Estate is a social housing complex on Paradise Street in Bermondsey area of Southwark, London. The rectangular patch of land it is located on is bordered to the north by Paradise Street (on the opposite side of which is the Millpond Estate), to the west is West Lane (on the opposite side of which is the West Lane Estate), to the south is Jamaica Street and to the east is Cathay Street.
Constructed in 1953-4, the estate consists of two large blocks containing a total of 103 flats. The two blocks are constructed out of brick and surround a central, landscaped courtyard. An electrical sub-station is located in the centre of courtyard. The block at the corner of Cathay Street and Jamaica Street reaches 6 storeys in height, whereas the other is 5 storeys at its tallest point.
