The Sentinels

The Sentinels are two 32 storey tower blocks on Holloway Head in Birmingham city centre, England. At 32 storeys, they are two of the Tallest tower blocks in the United Kingdom. The two tower blocks are Clydesdale Tower and Cleveland Tower. They are both 90 metres tall.

They are said to be inspired by the Marina City development in Chicago which consists of two corncob-shaped towers both of which are 60 storeys in height.

Clydesdale and Cleveland Tower were constructed simultaneously however completed a year apart. They were refurbished again in the early 2000s by Optima Homes.
