Wardpark

Wardpark is mostly an industrial estate in Cumbernauld, Scotland split by the A80 dual carriageway, although there is housing in the area. The former Burroughs factory which was occupied by OKI was demolished to make way for a retail park, OKI having been relocated nearby. The new Westway Retail Park will be built in phases with the first Phase oppening on 26th April 2007.
Cumbernauld Airport is at the northern edge of Wardpark with nice views down the Kelvin Valley. The country road to the north crosses the Antonine Wall and the main Glasgow-Edinburgh railway line before leading to the Forth and Clyde canal.
