Willow House Birmingham

Willow House, Duddeston Manor Estate, Nechells Green, Aston.

Willow House is a 9 storey tower block on the junction of Vauxhall Road and Duddeston Manor Road in the Duddeston Manor Estate. It is situated in the Nechells Green area of Aston, Birmingham. Plans for the block were approved in 1963 and it was completed in 1964 by Wates. It contains 36 flats and was extensively refurbished in the late 1990s as part of the regeneration of the Nechells Green area.

The Duddeston Manor Estate was refurbished along with Cromwell Street Estate in the 1990s, while the other 2 estates (Kellett Road Estate & Rupert Street Estate) were demolished to make way for new low-rise housing. The estate is one of four that make up the Nechells Green / Duddeston complex of 27 tower blocks and part of the 67 tower blocks in Aston.

The only tower block to be demolished in the Duddeston Manor Estate was Churchfield House.
