Winterton House is a 24 storey tower block on the Tarling East Estate in Tower Hamlets, East London. It is the only remaining high rise on the estate since Gelston Point was demolished in the 1990s. Winterton House was built in 1968. It was called Winterton Point until a refurbishment by HTA Architects Ltd in 1997 saw it renamed and reclad in the tallest unreinforced masonry wall in the world. Whitby Bird & Partners were also involved in the project.
